Civil Engineer Consultation

Civil Engineering and construction services have been Monty's passion for over 45 years. His advice, opinions, and expertise are recognized in almost all areas of civil engineering and construction. Monty has designed, coordinated, managed, and supervised a variety of projects, including public works, municipal engineering, site development, transportation, drainage, and conservation and wetlands. He has also provided construction phase related services.
Past clients include municipalities, DOT’s, state engineers, development foundations, school districts, developers, contractors, attorneys, realtors, architects and other design professionals.

Being a designated EXW, combined with his knowledge, skill and expertise of Civil Engineering, Monty can provide valuable navigation through civil engineering or construction-related areas of conflict or disagreement. Professional forensic engineering services are offered at all levels of litigation, including investigation and fact finding, to mediation and expert testimony. Monty delivers professional, honest and sound opinions and reports.

Position Held: Field Engineer 

Construction engineer for the Great Plains Coal Gasification Project in Beulah, ND. Responsible charge of construction inspection to insure compliance with specifications.

Project engineer for the US Department of Defense ISST program in Yuma, AZ. Provided construction work packages and inspection to insure compliance with specifications.

Position Held: Project Engineer

Construction engineer for the US Highway 83 realignment project south of Minot, ND



Miller Construction                                     June 1971 to August 1978

Position Held: Employee and Part Owner

Operated heavy equipment and managed a construction firm. Constructed roads, streets, dams, dugouts, terraces, water and sanitary sewer mains and services, grading for residential developments.
